Can you max the skill tree in Witcher 3? ›

For the limited number of skills slots, you can achieve almost maxing skills on the 2 trees you select, including the special skills from Blood and wine . However you cannot max all together skills in combat, signs, alchemy, and techniques.

Recipes can often be found in treasure chests, bought from alchemists, or obtained from certain books. Note that merchants will only sell recipes that you don't yet possess, and are therefore a good way to fill in the blanks in your alchemical knowledge.

There are actually 31 recipes in Blood and Wine, however, the 12 additional recipes for dyes do not count, making them the only exception in the game.
