Destiny 2 Weekly Reboot March 14, 2023 - Week Three of Lightfall and Season of Defiance (2023)

This is our Destiny 2 weekly reset coverage for March 14, 2023, our first for Season 20. Now that everyone is fed up with the new raid, it's time to get back to what happened in the Challenge Season. We'll also see what happens with the new exotic quest steps. And finally, let's look at what's for sale on Eververse.

The season quest continues. This week goes up to step 16 of this week. First with our encounter with Mara Sov and then on to a new battlefield - Orbital Prison.

Bungie released a series of hotfixes Thursday to address some lingering issues since Lightfall's release. Notable changes include fixes to address the Invisible Guardian issue and a rebalancing of Guardian recommendation requirements by rank.

Destiny 2 Weekly Activities March 14-20, 2023 Overview

Trials of Osiris is scheduled to return this weekend. This will be the first time Trials will be online in Season 20 and Lightfall. We will also be able to unlock more features for Vexcalibur. And don't forget that completing the Exotic quest on Legendary unlocks a new intrinsic trait i.e.Grabräuber.

This week sees double wins in Destiny 2Strategy. This is a good opportunity to check the Eclipse Distaff Ritual Ornament off the list once and for all. Sorry Drifter, Gambit isn't worth the pain and suffering.

| Where is Xur? March 17, 2023

It's that time of the week again when everyone in the Destiny 2 community is asking the question - Where's Xur?

This weekend, Xur can be found on the cliff overlooking Winding Cover in the EDZ. Just go north from the fast travel point and look for the cave that is just below your airship.

Destiny 2 Weekly Challenges March 14, 2023

The longest way:Complete week 3 of the mission "We Stand Unbroken".

Shadow Legion Ruins:Use skills to defeat fighters in the Defiant Battlegrounds playlist. Defeating fighters with the Strand subclass grants progression bonuses.

Defiantly defeated:Defeat fighters with Season of Defiance weapons. These are Perpetualis, Prodigal Return, Regnant, Caretaker, Raconteur, and Royal Executioner. Bonus progress is awarded to defeated fighters in seasonal activities.

Uprooted Nightmare:Complete every encounter in the Root of Nightmares raid.

EDZ activities:Earn progress in the EDZ by completing Bounties, Patrols, Public K-Events, and Lost Sectors.

Appreciation of praise:Earn progress by giving Commendations in Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit activities.

Iron sharpens iron:Complete Iron Banner matches. Earn bonus progress for wins.

Primitive Entourage:Defeat Taken in Gambit. Earn bonus progress by defeating tougher fighters.

Supreme Champion:Defeat champions in any Nightfall raid on Hero difficulty or higher. Earn bonus progress on higher difficulty levels.

Mid-range calibration:Calibrate mid-range weapons - hand cannons, auto rifles, glaives, fusion rifles, and machine guns - in the EDZ. Bonus progression for quickly defeating fighters.

Nightfall is brand new this weekCurrent hypernetHit. As the description says, "Prevent the Shadow Legion from breaching Neomuna's defenses." If the pattern persists, expect this nightfall to be more difficult than the new attack on day one.

Destiny 2 Crucible Featured Game Mode 14. März 2023

This week Lord Shaxx authorized the return ofburnt team. In the chaotic game mode, one team of Guardians competes against another to see which side has the fewest burns to clean up later. Expect lots of rocket jumps and impossible deadly shots.

Deepstone Crypt Raid Challenges

• rotate Rover– Performed during the 1st encounter in Crypt Security, this challenge asks all players to be operators and shoot the two panels on the lower level (this challenge requires 3 phases).
• copies of copies– During the 2nd encounter aka Atraks-1, don't send debuffs to airlocks/space.
• of all shops– Performed during the 3rd Encounter or Tanik's Phase 1, each Guardian must fill all three roles (Operator, Scanner, and Suppressor). Note: Players must complete a full stage with a buff to count.
• The Core Four– Performed during the fourth 4th Encounter or Tanik's Phase 2, the challenge requires Guardians to bury all four cores before the DPS phases.
